Public Events and Festivals
Amalia’s can cater for large public events and festivals lasting several days. We keep things simple with three classic tacos: Al Pastor, Carne Asada, and Carnitas. Our approach focuses on slow-cooked food served fast—delivering some of the finest street food you’ll ever taste. This tried-and-tested method has been used for generations in Mexico and allows us to serve large crowds efficiently.
Vegan and vegetarian options are available, and we can also create a special menu tailored to your event’s unique culinary needs.

Weddings and Private functions
Amalia’s will make your private event truly special by working closely with you to craft the perfect menu. We want your big day to be remembered not just for the celebration, but also for the unforgettable food shared with your guests.
Planning starts early—we’ll explore seasonal ingredients and fresh produce available around your event date. With thoughtful preparation, we can scale up and create a bespoke menu tailored to your tastes. Our goal is to make your special day even more memorable.

Office meetings
Amalia’s offers a refreshing alternative to the usual office lunch. Instead of the customary sandwiches, why not treat your team to a box of freshly made tacos? We provide fresh tortillas, homemade salsas, and a variety of fillings of your choice. This is a pre-order service, allowing us to prepare your bespoke lunch fresh on the day of your meeting.

Amalia’s attends organized events and markets, proudly supporting the National Farmers Union and emphasizing the importance of sourcing locally. We are committed to supporting the agricultural community wherever possible. You’ll find us at farmers markets and local shows, where we provide both our support to local producers and delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine to the public.

We bring our tacos straight to pub and bar car parks—perfectly crafted to pair with a cold beer or your favorite drink. We’ll come to your venue and serve up a variety of tacos for your patrons to enjoy. A good taco is the ideal snack between beverages, helping you eat and drink your way through an enjoyable evening.

Our
Story

AMALIA
Amalia is the mother of Maria and the inspiration behind Amalia’s Taqueria. The recipes we cook come from Amalia, who was born in Sonora, in northern Mexico—an area known for its flour tortillas and carne asada. When the family later moved to Guadalajara, a city famous for its rich culinary traditions, mariachi music, and tequila, Amalia continued to cook delicious Mexican food that now forms the heart of our menu.
Her cooking principles were simple: source fresh, local produce, make tortillas from scratch, prepare homemade salsas, and always cook with love. These are the values we strive to uphold at Amalia’s—serving fresh, home-cooked meals and delivering genuine, authentic Mexican street food to Amalia’s highest standards.
